We seem to live in a semi-civilized time when people who believe they have been offended for one reason or another feel honor-bound to beat up the offending person, burn down his house, or blow up his place of religious worship.

Couldn't we find some less extreme ways of gaining satisfaction ??

As one alternative, let me suggest the very effective and satisfying alternative of Shakespearean Insults. They're the best way I know of to respond to someone who has given offense.

The "Official Shakespearean Insult Kit," that will enable you to custom generate an absolutely devastating reply to any offense, can be found at:

Then, after each person has finished insulting the other, everybody can go have a cup of coffee, relax, and laugh about it.

Doesn't seem like a bad idea to me. What do you think ??
